A visual feast into the eyes and world of contemporary oil painter and ceramicist Anna Clucas.
Born in the Isle of Man, I have been very fortunate to be always surrounded by magical landscapes and and quirky storytelling. The Island inspires many people who dare to cross the Irish sea and explore what beauties lie in its shield.
Oil painting gives me freedom to be able to expressively integrate landscape and abstraction using improvisation and confident brush stokes.
Along side the oil painting, and inspired by Manx and Norse folklore, I sculpt with clay.
I will be updating my website over the next year with new projects and exciting news, but for now, just take a browse.
